I love the opportunity to look back on my teaching with another set of eyes. It can be in the form of someone asking questions and allowing me to generate my own thoughts about how the lesson could have gone better, or my peers filling out a feedback form to help me think about things that went well, and other things that I can still be working on. Sometimes I get so boggled down in my own ways, or staying with a lesson plan that I need a time to just talk about the lesson with another person.
Anther thing that I like about the feedback from my field instructor is that I am able to actually see my progress through this whole process.
